Dear Friend,
"This do in remembrance of me." Luke 22:19 (KJV)
I consider it a privilege to have a part in fulfilling the Great Commission. However, our efforts pale in comparison with the selfless giving of Jesus.
Jesus paid the ultimate price for the sin of humanity. All He asked was, "this do in remembrance of me." When you do it for the little ones, I am pleased and I will bless you.
My friend, that's humbling! As we celebrate the Passover this Easter, I want to invite you to join me in doing our all in remembrance of Him.
I am thrilled at the opportunities God has given us to remember Him. These open doors are indicative of God's intention to bless us as well.
Two years into our War on AIDS program, we are rejoicing for the thousands of students who have responded positively to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the abstinence message. That's the hope for the next generation!
We must move on to touch the 17,812 students in the Gboko Local Government area. Right now we need $4,000 to pay for the 18,000 copies of the HIV/AIDS booklets we have ordered. Would you help us with this in remembrance of Him?
We believe God for a breakthrough this year to complete the second floor of our Children's Home in Nigeria. I can't wait to see this building filled with hundreds of orphans who are waiting to be rescued. These precious children will face pain, starvation, and possibly death if we do nothing. About $35,000 is needed to deck the second floor and make it habitable.
A team is planning to travel to Nigeria in June/July to do construction work on this project. However, funds are needed for the materials. Would you help us with this in remembrance of Him?
A friend who went to Africa with me wrote,
"We left greatly encouraged that God is working and developing new leaders to greatly enhance the work of the Kingdom in Cameroon, Nigeria, and Ghana."
That is true, and we must continue to provide our pastors and Christian workers with much-needed training. A sixteen-day trip has been scheduled for October for the War on AIDS Program and the Leadership Conference. $10,000 is needed to cover the cost of this meeting. Would you help us with this in remembrance of Him?
I am always blessed each time we are able to help another child who would not have been able to go to school, with a scholarship. It is such a blessing for the child and the widow!
$3,000 is needed to help provide scholarships to orphans this semester. Would you help us with this in remembrance of Him? Jesus says,
"Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." Matthew 25:40 (KJV)
We are already experiencing miracles after weeks of fasting and prayer. It has truly been a time of spiritual refreshing and release for everyone who participated. God is giving spiritual, physical, and financial freedom to our members.
We have received outstanding testimonies including; the healing of a chronic childhood abdominal pain, debt cancellation that has freed a member, healing of tuberculosis, and gainful employment. What an encouragement these testimonies have been to the church in Nigeria.
God is on the move! Things are happening! Souls are being drawn into the kingdom. We need you now to partner with us in reaching these men and women in remembrance of Him.
Please use the enclosed response form and self-addressed envelope to rush your best gift. And please back it up with your prayers. May God bless you richly as you share His love and blessings!
Thank you for your support,
Yours in His Service,
