Dear Friend of Nigeria,
The trip we have been promoting and praying for is here. We are set to leave on May 18, 2005 for Nigeria and on to Ghana. However, we have one challenge--we are short of funds.
The team members include Rev. Gerald Bustin, Rev. Samuel Brobbey, Evangelist Alamandra Bernard, Dr. Daniel Williams, and Dr. David Akaji. Each of the team members will be involved in a major way--teaching or preaching.
We will have a two-day evangelistic meeting at three locations, War on AIDS Rally in six to ten schools, Christian workers' seminar at two locations, and a day of Ministers' Conference. It is going to be a busy time and I believe that the participants will be a blessing to the people of Nigeria.
Our goal is to bring men and women to the kingdom of God. Young people will be exposed to the message of abstinence and the gospel of Jesus. Pastors and Christian workers will be encouraged and equipped for ministry. Join us to pray for the anointing of God on the entire program.
Although each member of the team is responsible for his or her trip expenses, we are still $9,800 short. This amount will cover the cost of printing AIDS and other conference materials, help equip teams for the War on AIDS program in schools, and study Bibles we are giving to pastors as equipping tool and a gift for participating in the Ministers' Conference.
Because you are such a trusted partner and you have helped in many ways to encourage us in getting the word of God to the lost, it is important that you know the need. Please, pray for this need and consider giving an emergency rescue gift today. Would you?

- God's anointing on the entire War on AIDS program that is designed to educate young people and care for those already infected and affected.
- National workers to catch the vision and burden for the souls of the students, so that they can do the work as a ministry service and not just a job.
- Funds: (1) The short fall of $9,800 for this trip! URGENT!!! (2) The budget will help us to equip three teams that will be reaching over 3,000 students weekly.
- Favor with Government officials, Principals, and Teachers.
- Students of Benue state that are exposed to the ravaging effects of HIV/AIDS. Pray that God will prepare their hearts and make them receptive to the program.
- Anointing and wisdom as I (David Akaji) make daily decisions for this program.
